On our worst days, when we are tired, sick, or overwhelmed, we tend to do nothing at all because we can't do "everything." This "all or nothing" thinking is the enemy of progress. Luna Coaching advocates for the "Non-Zero Day."

A Non-Zero Day means that no matter what happens, you do something to move the needle. Even if it’s just reading one page, writing one line of code, or sending one follow-up email. Why? Because it keeps the identity of a winner alive.

The Math of "Something":

  • 1.01^365 = 37.7 (Improving by 1% every day makes you 37 times better in a year).
  • 0.99^365 = 0.03 (Declining by 1% every day leads you almost to zero).
  • Doing "something" keeps the momentum, which is much harder to start than to maintain.

Luna’s Reflection: Don't judge your days by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant. Even one seed is a forest in waiting.
